With a family heritage firmly in the automotive industry, Rory has always lived and breathed cars. Rory's impressive history as a semi-professional racing driver and instructing as an AMCI Product Expert means his understanding of the luxury car industry is second to none.

Being a AMCI Product Expert means Rory has worked closely with multiple high-end manufacturers to successfully train sales teams on new vehicles. Most recently, he aided Rolls-Royce on their European and USA tour; exhibiting the opulence of their Rolls-Royce Cullinan to VIP customers. In the racing world, he rapidly rose through the motorsport scene, winning races in both the Porsche Carrera Cup and Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Series.
As co-founder of Whitson Prestige, Rory takes responsibility for the day-to-day management of the company, working tirelessly to source and sell only the best motor vehicles. Jon's education doesn't stem from a classroom, but instead an MOT centre in Newport at the age of just 10 years old. His wealth of experience brings unrivalled knowledge to Whitson Prestige.
He started his esteemed career at the family-run dealership in 1983, when he was just a young teen. His dad hired a tent on wasteland next to his MOT centre to run a car auction from and the business quickly grew. By 1995, Jon and his wife Fay had taken over the running of the company leading it to become one of the UK's most successful car auctioneering businesses selling thousands of vehicles every year.
After 20+ years at the helm of Newport Auctions - and over 250,000 car sales - Jon sold the business in 2017. Now, almost four decades after selling his first car, he dedicates his time and expertise to ensuring the quality and high standard of Whitson Prestige.
